Birdland Books is a small, independent bookseller based in Lewisburg, West Virginia that sells quality used, collectible, and rare books online. We love books and are passionate about getting quality used books into new hands, from the casual reader to the endlessly curious.

And we do a little bit of good each time you buy a book from us. As part of our charitable giving program, Birdland Books donates 5% of all book sales to organizations that support literacy, community, and intellectual independence in Appalachia.

We Buy Books

Have a stack of books you no longer need? A few shelves to clear out? A garage full?

We pay cash for books and typically offer 50-75% more than leading online book buyback sites. If you are close to southern West Virginia, we can come to you!

Or, if you are looking to do a good deed, we offer a donation option: in lieu of cash for your books, we will make a premium charitable donation in your name to our favorite charities that support literacy in Appalachia.
