Our Giving Program

Birdland Books was created to give back. Our preferred donation recipients, like us, share a love of books and a commitment to fostering literacy and access to books in the communities that need it most. These organizations are invaluable resources in the communities they serve.

We give back in two ways:

First, 5% of all book sales are donated to our favorite charities listed below. Know that every book you buy from our online store at Biblio.com* does a little bit of good in the world.

Second, we offer a premium donation option as part of our book buyback program. If you want to do some good with your used books, we will make a premium donation (10-15% more than our cash offer) to the organizations listed below or a charitable organization of your choice that supports literacy and learning in Appalachia.

*Shout out to Biblio.com. They are a wonderful organization with a robust social responsibility program, including carbon-offsetting on all orders through their site. Learn more about their program here.

Who We Give To

A green vase with daisies and other flowers is on top of the shelves, and a small black basket with children's books is also visible.
